So first and foremost here, my computer took another dump. This one was much more serious. Thank GOD for warranties, that's all I can say. So turns out the video card is fried. Hmmm wonder how that happened? Sims much??? Apparently Cass having like 23142131 Sims games on there might eventually overload the video card. Whoda thunk it? So I called my good ole HP desk support professionals and the lovely gentleman Nolan did the troubleshooting and whatnot and determined my video card is fried and I'll have to send it in so they can replace the whole motherboard along with the video card. So they are sending me a box to ship it in. Of course all of this is for free which makes me happy. But still. I'l be without it for 10 days. More like 2 weeks I'm sure. All my school stuff is on there. All of Jax's work stuff is on there. I have an outline, references, and abstract on there for my term paper that is due in a month. Fuckity fuck. I hope they are quick about it. All my pictures are on there. All of my music and porn are on there too. Okay, I kid about the porn thing. But I was assured that when I get it back nothing will be lost. I guess we'll see. And while Nolan had me on the phone he discussed with me about extending my warranty and gave me the low down of the cost. And I must say that I am dearly considering it. I mean can you imaging taking it in and having somebody replace the entire motherboard and labor costs? It would be a fortune. And so far I've had nothing but free service. So when my warranty comes up in February I really think I"ll get that $99 extended warranty. What's so funny is by HP offering me this they are basically saying "Here, buy our insurance because our products suck ass". Which they do, I can attest to. 9 months old and I've had to get a new monitor and have the motherboard replaced. But either way it's all been free to me so I won't bitch.

We went to the game last night and Cass got another serve over the net which made me scream once again! She wasn't too much on top of her game otherwise but really, none of them were last night. So a friend of Cassidy's mom showed up and sat next to me. Turns out I know a bunch of her family. She's a nice lady, she works in a very hoity toity salon here. I had never really talked with her much and didn't really have an opinion one way or the other about her I guess. But she was just great. Turns out she's a reality TV junky. In fact she kept checking her watch and commenting she hoped it was over soon or else she was going to miss "Survivor" and she couldn't do that! I was all kinds of excited when I heard her say that because sometimes I feel so different from the other parents. That's a complex brought on by myself though and I know that. She went to some Survivor thing in OMaha where a bunch of them from the first 4 seasons came to the convention center and did some type of charity event or something. She has pics with all of them in this little scrapbook she has and I LOVE IT!!!! Then she told me she's an MTV reality show junkie and we told her about all the MTV kids websites Jax has done in the past and is doing now and stuff and she knew everybody we were talking about and we did a little MTV gossip too. I gave her Jax's website so she could see proof that she really does do some of these kids' websites because sometimes when you tell people, "yeah I've done work for so and so" they tend to not believe you. I've found that out knowing her. I've never not believed her and she always gave me proof. I've talked to people you wouldn't believe. But I don't mention it here because it's not important and nobody would believe me anyway.

So yeah that was really fun.

So the team uniforms have to be washed together as they are brand new and want to take care of them as much as possible. So there is a sign up sheet and one parent takes the uniforms home after each game so they can all be washed together. Well last night they didn't have anybody to take them home and the coach yells out that they need a volunteer and Cassidy blurts out "MY mom hasn't washed them yet!" and so I got a clothes basket with 21 tops and bottoms shoved in my face. Oh great. And can I just say that loading your washing machine full of sweaty, smelly clothes that belong to someone other than your child is very disgusting. Nuff said.

So I toook pics of all of them hanging up in Cassidy's closet to dry but of course I can't upload them till I'm 47 because my computer is dead until HP resuscitates her.

Anyway, that was the extent of my night.

And it's Friday and I'm getting off early again I think today because of no work again. Thank GOD for PTO!
